Winter again.
6x6" oil on prepared card stock
This wintery painting was part of my summer 2012 show. She was a bit out of place on Cape Cod in August, but in December she fits right in.

Big Sweetie
oil on Linen 22"x24" 2010
I usually paint on panel, but this one is on stretched linen.
I loved painting this one - It was fun to swap my go-to regular old surface for the linen, and it's larger than I usually paint too (partly how she got her name "big sweetie") The dark outline around the figure was a last minute choice and I love it.

Angel in a Housecoat
1995 oil on prepared paper. 6x6"ish
this piece was in a museum show in 1995 in Riverside, California "Angeli"
and then it sold to a good friend in Sweden. I've always loved this one.

Uncle Arthur
18 x 24" oil on panel on decorative paper. 2010
This painting hangs in my dining room and I can just feel Arthur's wonderful sense of humor radiating out of the painting. Looks like he's thinking about his next zinger.

Ediths mom
I painted this way back in the mid 1990's. (wow- I've been doing this a long time)
I painted this in Sweden where I worked and lived for a while after undergrad.
I loved it there.

Not everbody likes dogs
6x6" oil on wood block.
This is based on my grandmothers neighbor, Mrs Murphy, she probably actually does like dogs but she looks a little grumpy and that's what came to me.

Welcome to my Blog.
I will usually just post images and titles, but thought I'd say "hello" since this is my first post.
Hi.
