I painted this way back in the mid 1990's.  (wow- I've been doing this a long time)
I painted this in Sweden where I worked and lived for a while after undergrad.
I loved it there.

This is based on my grandmothers neighbor, Mrs Murphy, she probably actually does like dogs but she looks a little grumpy and that's what came to me.
